This 1.2-million-square-foot shopping and entertainment destination is intended to drive tourism to the city of Sparks, Nev. The project is located just east of Sparks Marina at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Sparks Boulevard. The highly visible location on the interstate brings visitors from out of the state to Sparks.

The project is anticipated to bring more than 800,000 tourists to the area each year and generate $600 million in taxable sales annually. Because the project is designed to boost tourism, RED Development is utilizing STAR (Sales Tax Anticipated Revenue) Bonds, a unique financing tool available for projects that will have a positive impact on the region or state. RED Development is currently utilizing STAR Bonds at Legends Outlets Kansas City, an entertainment shopping district in Kansas City, Kan.

Legends Outlets Sparks has attracted a number of unique destination and entertainment retailers, restaurants, night clubs and attractions.
